Welcome To The KMOB Home Page

KMOB is an Instrumental-Acid-Funk-Afro-Latin-Hip-Hop-

The members have been playing around Cleveland in Jazz and Blues bands for around 25 years. They bring all that experience together to perform music - from Acid Jazz to the Avant Garde - That Grooves

KMOB likes to keep things interesting, changing styles throughout the set from Latin to Space to Funk to Reggae always jamming on each feel.

KMOB is former Moko Bovo members Al Moses (Guitar) and Rick Kodramaz (Bass) with John Stebal (Drums).

Announcements

KMOB is now on the CNet Download.com Music site. For those not familiar, this site used to be MP3.com. MP3.com was dedicated to independant musicians from around the world. It was a place to legally download mp3 files from musicians trying to get their music out to the public. CNet bought MP3.com late last year and are launching a new site that they promise will be better. So far it looks good. There are four songs from our CD titled "Big Broadcast". The address for the KMOB location on the website is http://www.download.com/kmob . Check it out.

Look for some KMOB photos at the FIMU site under "MEMORIES" then Photos of FIMU 2004.

The FIMU website can be found at: http://www.fimu.com.

The latest KMOB news is that we decided to go, a little "Mainstream".

Just a little.

We've been playing and working out some new tunes with Dan Bode lately.

Most of you remember Dan from the MoKo BoVo days.

We've been talking for years about learning more modern grooves and blending them with some Old School Funk.

KMOB has been exploring Groove based rhythms for years.

It just seemed like a good time to re-unite and have some fun experimenting again.
